• My mission, style, and vision

A corporate Human Resources professional for over fourteen years, Jill Berquist has the majority of her tenure with the global management and technology consulting firm, Andersen Consulting, now Accenture. During her ten years with the firm, Jill rose through the ranks to a Director of Recruiting position. Aside from her responsibility for hiring hundreds of professionals at all levels, Jill developed successful mentoring, retention and diversity programs. While there, Jill also had the opportunity to coach consultants of all levels, from analyst through partner.

Discovering that her excitement for coaching was matched by her natural talents in this area, Jill founded her own national coaching firm in 1997. Through coaching, consulting, training, facilitating, writing and the media, Jill conveys skills and messages to directly impact and inspire people to live to their highest potential.

Jill primarily coaches entrepreneurs, professionals, executives, CEO's, small business owners, coaches and people in transition. Her clients are inherently "successful," although many times they are in the process of getting "unstuck," re-defining "success" on their own terms, fully leveraging their strengths or seeking a higher level of fulfillment and balance.

Jill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from the University of Connecticut, and the Professional Coaching Certification from the International Coach Federation. She is a graduate of the globally recognized Coach University coach training program, and a seven-year member of the International Coach Federation. Jill's current professional affiliations include serving as Past President and active member of the Glastonbury Business and Professional Women's Club, a chapter of the National organization. Jill is also a founding member of the Connecticut Collaborative of Professional Coaches and is an active member of the Glastonbury, Connecticut Chamber of Commerce.

Jill and her husband, Carl, recently celebrated their 15th anniversary, and are proud parents of two young daughters, Aliza and Jaymie.

My Mission is to help organizations and individuals achieve "soul-centered" success. I define this as a sustainable success that springs from a foundation of values, integrity and unique identity. I help my clients define these components and use them to fuel their work and lives. My Style is an effective blend of intuition and logic. My goal is to quickly and insightfully get to the heart of an issue, and assist my clients in moving from ideas to meaningful action. My Vision is a world where as many individuals and organizations as possible, uncover, design and fulfill their unique potential, living lives and doing work that is catalyzed by their values, vision and most meaningful contribution.
